International Energy Forum (IEF25) will take place in Oslo on 19–20 November 2025

On 19–20 November 2025, Oslo will host the International Energy Forum (IEF25) – one of the key events in the energy sector, bringing together industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers from around the world. The Forum is organized with the support of the Norwegian energy industry, trade organizations, and the Norwegian government.

Participants will gain insights into current market outlooks, the latest technologies, and project developments, while networking directly with operators, suppliers, and investors. The programme covers a broad range of topics – from oil and gas, renewables, and CCUS, to hydrogen and digitalisation.

CCUS session – global perspectives and Norwegian experience
A particularly important highlight will be the CCUS session, scheduled for 20 November. The discussion will start with the panel “Exploring CCUS Market Opportunities”, focusing on global trends, financing, and market forecasts. Experts from Rystad Energy, DNV, and Gassnova will share their insights, including lessons from Norway’s Longship project.

CCUS Poland’s contribution
Another key element will be the session “Global Horizons: Exploring International Projects in CCUS”, presenting different international approaches to carbon capture, utilisation, and storage. We are proud to announce that Dr. Paweł Gładysz, President of the CCUS Poland Association, will be among the speakers, presenting the Polish perspective and our association’s activities in the field of CCUS. Other speakers include:

  • Sigrid Borthen Toven, Vice President Low Carbon Solutions, Equinor
  • Agnieszka Ozga, Director Energy Transition Division, Gaz-System
  • Prof. Abdelghafour Zaabout, Mohammed 6 Polytechnic University (UM6P)

Networking and international cooperation
The programme also includes dedicated networking sessions and a pitching round for Norwegian companies, offering an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge, learn from best practices, and build new partnerships in CCUS and the wider energy transition.
