We invite you to learn more about international perspectives on practical industrial decarbonization during a conference in Amsterdam
On November 18–19, 2026, Amsterdam will become the European hub for debate on the future of carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) technologies. The upcoming Industry CCUS 2026 conference is one of the most important industry events, bringing together industry leaders, technology experts, and decision-makers from across Europe. Due to its international nature, all sessions and panel discussions will be conducted in English, facilitating a free exchange of experiences among participants from various EU markets.
The event places a strong emphasis on the practical aspects of CCUS technology implementation. Participants will have the opportunity to explore specific case studies from sectors that are the most difficult to decarbonize, such as the cement, steel, and petrochemical industries. Presentations of real-world industrial projects will allow for an in-depth analysis of operational challenges, issues related to transport infrastructure, and the economic aspects of investment in the context of current European Union regulations.
A key highlight of the program will be a presentation by Dr. Eng. Paweł Gładysz, President of the Board of the CCUS Poland Association, who will deliver a presentation titled “Market outlook with focus on Poland”. The lecture will provide an opportunity to explore the development prospects of the Polish CCUS market against the backdrop of European trends. Immediately following the presentation, a Q&A session is scheduled, giving participants the opportunity to ask questions and engage in direct dialogue with the speaker.
A key element of the conference, underscoring its expert nature, will be the exclusive study visit to Tata Steel IJmuiden scheduled for November 17. This is a unique opportunity to take a close look at advanced facilities and learn about the decarbonization strategy of one of Europe’s largest metallurgical plants, which is actively implementing carbon cycle management solutions.
The role of CCUS technologies in industrial decarbonization is crucial today—they serve as a bridge between traditional production and ambitious climate neutrality goals. Industry CCUS 2026 is a platform that allows participants to see these technologies in action and understand their real impact on the transformation of the European economy.
The CCUS Poland Association actively supports initiatives promoting knowledge transfer and the development of international partnerships in this field. We invite you to review the detailed program and register on the organizer’s website.
